Hisaab Barabar, directed by Ashwini Dhir, revolves around an honest ticket collector (TC) working for the Indian Railways, who decides to expose a massive financial fraud committed by a bank. While the premise looks promising on paper, the execution have some lack. The film finds its consistent tone and strike with its many light satirical approach. There are several interesting scenes, they are quickly followed by sequences that seems good. The use of the phrase “Hisaab Barabar” by the main character and in background music is good but it later become repetitive and annoying, further diminishing the appeal of the film.

R. Madhavan gives a heartfelt performance as the honest TC, but even his efforts can’t save the film, especially with the overly dramatic monologues towards the end. Neil Nitin Mukesh, Kriti Kulhari and Manu Rishi give good performances at best in their poorly written characters. The heavy use of green screen in some scenes also spoils the film, making it amateurish and distracting from the story. Overall, Hisaab Barabar ruins its promising premise with inconsistent execution, weak writing and lack of focus, offering only a few standout moments and an honest effort from its lead.

Hisaab Barabar Movie Cast Roles

The plot is good along with Mr.Madhavan’s acting as always. The character depth is appreciated in protagonist. ( There could have been a monologue maybe of him talking about his marriage ).

Kriti’s acting is also nice but sad that Kriti’s character was never able to establish itself on the screen. It had much scope to play an important role in the plot but it was constructed poorly without any depth and had no influence on the plot.

Same for Neil’s character, made poorly, did not have a strong hold on the plot, and lacked the character depth and hence was a poorly made antagonist.

Though the plot had scope the direction was not up to the mark. But you can watch this 1hr 51min for a good entertainment with some romance and comedy.

The start was good but towards the climax it just all became too gimmicky and easy. This could have been a much better movie if it was not this filmy and had been more precise and accurate with it’s ending.

Hisaab Barabar Movie Review Zee5

Nice movie the story line is simple yet successfully imparts the message over to us with minimum wastage of wealth – all actors though no big names but they do as expected. The public turns around against a banking scam. Mahadevan is at his sober best Kriti also striking the right cord.

Hotstar Sweet Dream Movie Review

Acting is yes may be normal but up to mark.
Everyone honestly play role.
Direction simple and great.
Story very very original and correlates to system not only of India but World corporate’s.
Not a propaganda movie like these days hitting theatre and manipulating history and images of people. Good movie must be watched for how system works vs aam aadmi.
Congratulations to team dare to do this type of work. Kudos
